Wish Tower for me. Not bad, but can't have been as good as yesterday. Most were on 4.7's and 5.3's when I arrived, but it looked to be getting decidedly iffy for those on the smaller kit. Much chatting and general faffing, until the time pressure on my pass pushed me to rig big. Went for a 5.7, which was pretty much perfect. Slight shadow on the inside, but enough to waterstart away from. Managed to catch a few little waves at the start, but they calmed down a bit toward the end - although looking back out after I came in, it looked quite tasty again. Highlight for me was seeing a huge freak bit of swell jack up just alongside me by the outer set of waves Then dropping (bouncing) down it and having it rumble away above my head. I looked back and it's always hard to gauge this stuff, but I'd place it up at logo kind of height - not a wave, but exhilarating anyway. Always fun going frontside when there's surfers in the water too, as it make you feel you might actually be on a wave!

So two days in a row - fantastic
